Introducing Princess K! | Acworth Newborn Photographer

Oh how I love photographing newborns!!  It is especially fun to photograph siblings! This precious baby girl is the youngest of 3 big brothers!! And what a princess she is!!  These were sooo much fun to shoot! I hope you love them!

This was a spur of the moment shot taken rather quickly, so it's not the best technical photograph I've taken, but it captured all Momma's kids smiling in one shot, so that was awesome!

Mom is a Thirty-One consultant, and wanted a picture of Miss K in this basket because they will have contests using their products in creative photos
, so we did a fun little series to make sure she got what she wanted ;)

Super loved by her big brother!!

Christmas Family and Newborn Portraits | Acworth Newborn Photographer

Happy New Year!

I know I'm almost a month late, but I figured I'd still start with that since it's my first post of 2012 =)   It's been a busy year already, and I am striving to find a way to slow down and live life more purposefully this year instead of letting it go by in a blur of busyness. Not doing so well, yet, but I'm not giving up! One thing I have decided to change, as you'll notice, is posting the pics individually instead of creating was I was calling a "Blog collage" to post them. This will save me a tooooon of time and will simplify my workflow tenfold. If you have ideas on how to simplify workflow (or life in general!), please share them below! We'd all benefit from brainstorming together :)

One thing I want to do more of is share more pictures with my kids, and talk about our memories and fun times together. I spent most of the Christmas break making a Photobook for them about our family in 2010, and am working on the one for 2011 right now. They are loving it!!  My mother-in-law, and their Granny, passed away last year, and it has been so special for them to see photos of her healthy and whole before her cancer returned. If you've never made a family Photobook, I highly recommend it. Definitely a way to help you Focus on Moments.

Now, I am excited to share with you some portraits I had to put off sharing due to Christmas surprises!  To start, here is a precious newborn with his 2 big brothers and big sister celebrating his first Christmas with them!  Oh How I Loved Shooting These Pics!!  I couldn't stop, and ran over my usual portrait session time because we were having so much fun!! I hope you enjoy them too :)

This was from a shoot my photographer friend, Melissa, invited me to shoot with her. Thank you so much, Melissa!  Oh it was such a fun session!!  As always, you can see the rest of the pics on my Facebook page: Facebook.com/dulcelightphotography.

Announcing: Our Newest Product!!

I am beyond excited to present to you our newest product we are so proud to offer: The beautiful, versatile easy to clean, and ultra-customizable Gallery Block!  It is available as a single, set of singles or even as a collage -
the Floating Gallery Block!

OK, I know you are asking...

What is a Single Gallery Block™?

It is a professional photographic print adhered to a solid wood structure through a custom process that produces a unique wall décor product.

What is a Floating Gallery Block™?
It is a series of professional photographic prints adhered to solid wood structures and united on a larger backboard which produces a hanging three-dimensional effect.

Here, take a close-up look at the one you'll see below:

What I love about them is their sleek, modern look and that you don't need a frame... they come ready to hang! You just clean them with a damp cloth when needed, easy!  And they are the epitome of unique!!! As your photographer, we can create a collage that is unique to you and your family, making it coordinate with your nursery or family room decor! You can choose if the image wraps around the block or if you want a color or design around it instead! No matter what you choose, it looks beautiful!!

I love hanging gorgeous art on my walls, but I love it even more when the artistic prints are of MY FAMILY!!! However, I kind of feel like too many framed prints one after another get redundant, even if each print is different. These Gallery Blocks will definitely add spark to your display!

And what BETTER WAY can you think of to show off your most precious family moments?

I CANNOT WAIT to get my Gallery Blocks on my walls!

I do have a catalog of ideas available upon request, but remember... it is COMPLETELY CUSTOMIZABLE!!

Single Gallery Blocks start at $60 for a set of 3 5x5s, and the Floating Gallery Blocks start at $120 for a 5x5 on a 14x14 backboard. Yes, they are a bit more of an investment than taking your CD to Wal-Mart for some prints, BUT they are much more stunning to look at and show off display!

You can see more prices on my pricing page, but for a better idea of your investment for the design you desire, please call/email me directly.

If you have questions or need more info, call or email me today! I'd be happy to discuss them with you!

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you have a great day and remember to ... focus on moments! Don't let them slip by!

Blessings,
Dianne

The Best Excuse Ever

Well, I am so excited to finally be able to introduce you to the reason I had to take so much time off from shooting and editing your portraits...

Meet our precious new baby boy... Baby S! He was born March 1 at 8:53 am, weighing 5 pounds 4 ounces and was 17.6 inches long.  He was still 4 weeks early, but is healthy as can be. We are struggling a little with jaundice. However, in light of the many other problems he could have had, we consider this quite the blessing! It was such a delight to shoot his newborn portraits! I have been away from my camera for far too long! And I have been anxiously awaiting his arrival, as well! So it was quite a momentous time for me. Hope you enjoy them too!

The many faces of Mr. S!!  <3

Had to have a picture of him next to something to compare his size
and show how tiny he his!  HIS BEAR IS BIGGER THAN HIM!!!

Now that this tough pregnancy is over (finally!) I am ready to begin booking sessions again! We should be all recovered and ready to shoot by the beginning of April, so I will start taking appointments for that time. It will be perfect! Easter Portraits! Spring Portraits! Spring Break Portraits... whatever occasion you wish! Call or email me today, as I will have limited times available until Baby S is a bit bigger :)

Thank you for your patience! I will be finishing the editing many of you have been waiting on over the course of the next two weeks. You will hear from me soon!

And then, I can't wait to spend time with you and your precious families again and take some more memorable portraits for you!
